Be a Part of It!
We are proud to announce the first production of our 13th season… Hemingway’s Promise is a haunting and intimate exploration of the final hours of legendary author Ernest Hemingway. Set in the quiet isolation of his Idaho home, the play unravels the turbulent mind of a man at the end of his rope. As night falls, Hemingway is visited by phantoms from his past—lovers, friends, family—each demanding attention, absolution, or confrontation. Reality blurs with memory in a lyrical, unflinching meditation on legacy, regret, and the ghosts we carry. Raw, poetic, and unrelenting, Hemingway’s Promise is a powerful drama for mature audiences that dares to look directly into the heart of a man facing the edge. This production is made possible in part to a generous donation from the Woodbury Junior Women’s Club. Donations will be accepted to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
